Terms & Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions before using the services provided by Paired Up, Jaz of All Trades | Master of Some LLC. (“Entity”). By using the services provided by Entity, you hereby represent, warrant, understand, agree to and accept these terms and conditions in their entirety whether or not you register for an event.
Entity does not employ any nannies, babysitters, or parents and is not responsible for the conduct of any nanny, babysitter, or parent/guardian. Entity does not assume and expressly disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of any information provided by nannies, babysitters, and parents/guardians, through applications and through events.
Entity does not refer or recommend any nannies, babysitters, or parents/guardians nor does it make any representations about the suitability, reliability, timeliness, or accuracy of any services provided by any nanny, babysitter, or parent/guardian. Entity does not make any representations about the integrity, responsibility, or actions of any nanny, babysitter, or parent/guardian. Entity does not assume and expressly disclaims any liability that may result from the use of Entity’s services.
Entity is not an employment agency, and does not secure or procure employees for any parents/guardians, nor does Entity secure or procure opportunities for any nannies and babysitters.
Entity does not control, monitor, supervise, or oversee the quality, timing, hours, pay, legality, or any other aspect of services delivered by any nannies and babysitters, nor does Entity require nannies and babysitters to accept or work any jobs or deliver any services at all.
Entity does not provide any medical, diagnostic, treatment, or clinical service or engage in any conduct that requires a professional license.
Nannies, babysitters, and parents/guardians may submit background checks, driving records, references, etc. in order to obtain entry to an event or gain access to a service offered by Entity. Entity does not guarantee, nor represent or warrant, that the information provided by nannies, babysitters, and parents/guardians is accurate or that it belongs to the person that provided it.
Nannies, babysitters, and parents/guardians are solely responsible for interviewing, vetting, performing background checks and reference checks on, verifying information provided by, and selecting an appropriate nanny, babysitter, and parent/guardian for themselves or their family.
When a nanny, babysitter, or parent/guardian register for the Event and purchase entry fees for the Event, he or she warrants and represents as follows:

That by registering for and purchasing entry fees for the Event, he or she is participating in the foregoing described event with the knowledge and understanding that:
- Individuals introduced as potential Nannies and/or Caretakers are being presented by Entity for investigative and/or introductory purposes only;
- That the criminal background checks and driving records presented at the Event have been provided by the potential Nannies and/or Caretakers and are not certified or guaranteed by Entity;
- That the individual participating in the Event for the purpose of meeting potential Nannies and/or Caretakers is a competent adult, with the legal authority to act on behalf of his or herself in regard selecting a potential Nanny and/or Caretaker;
- That the individual participating in the Event for the purposes of meeting potential Nannies and/or Caretakers shall rely wholly upon his or her own judgment, belief, and knowledge of the nature and qualifications of a potential Nanny and/or Caretaker, and that no representations or statements by Entity shall influence the Participant’s decision in selecting a potential Nanny and/or Caretaker;
- That it shall be the full duty and responsibility of the Participant alone to fully investigate to his or her full satisfaction all facts surrounding the background of a Potential Nanny and/or Caretaker in selecting a potential nanny and/or Caretaker; and
- That the Participant shall indemnify and hold harmless Entity for any claims, demands, or causes of action held by Participant and/or any other person or entity against Entity, its agents, representatives, and/or employees based upon, arising out of, or in any way connected with the Event and/or Participant’s selection and/or relationship with a Nanny and/or Caretaker.
Payment Policy
NO CASH OR CHECKS ACCEPTED - ONLINE PAYMENTS ONLY
Payments for all Ticket Sales and Registration Fees MUST be paid in FULL - if not, you will not be able to attend or participate in The Nanny & Babysitter Expo, and you will forfeit all monies already paid to Paired Up by Jaz of All Trades | Master of Some LLC.

Refund Policy
TICKET REFUNDS: Paired Up does not issue refunds on any tickets for any reason. All ticket sales are final.
REGISTRATION REFUNDS: Registration refunds for childcare providers are only partially given - 25% of total registration fee. Those partial refunds are only considered if the childcare provider has asked in writing - sending an email to [email protected] - prior to the date of The Pre-Expo Workshop or 14 days prior to The Nanny & Babysitter Expo that they registered for - whichever date comes first. Even then, those refunds are solely at the discretion of Paired Up and will be determined by individual cases. The partial refund will be returned within seven (7) to ten (10) business days in the same way it was received (NO CASH OR CHECKS ACCEPTED - ONLINE PAYMENTS ONLY).
SECURITY DEPOSIT REFUND: A $50 Security Deposit will be required no later than 3 days prior to expo. If security deposit is not received, then the childcare provider will not be permitted to attend or participate in The Nanny & Babysitter Expo and will forfeit all registration fees in full, with no ability for a partial refund as stated above. After inspection of table, tablecloths, and chairs at the end of the expo, you will be refunded the full $50 amount in the way it was paid (NO CASH OR CHECKS ACCEPTED - ONLINE PAYMENTS ONLY). There will be a complete $50 forfeit of your security deposit if there is anything more than what is considered "normal wear and tear" as determined by Paired Up.

Cancelation Policy
Paired Up, by Jaz of All Trades | Master of Some LLC, reserves the right to cancel any event and/or expo at any time and for any reason. If Paired Up ever has to cancel an event and/or expo - they will do so through email, text, and/or social media. Paired Up does not have to disclose any reason(s) to any person(s) as to why the event and/or expo is being cancelled.
If the event and/or expo is cancelled after The Pre-Expo Workshop took place, then there will be a refund of $120 for all registered nannies, $145 for registered babysitters (18+), and full refunds for registered babysitters (14-17) and all ticket purchasers who already purchased a ticket(s) to the cancelled event and/or expo. If the event and/or expo is cancelled before The Pre-Expo Workshop is set to take place, then there will be full refunds for all registered nannies, all registered babysitters (14+), and all ticket purchasers who already purchased a ticket(s) to the cancelled event and/or expo. All refunds will be paid to each registered nanny, registered babysitter (14+), and ticket purchaser in the same way their payment was received (NO CASH OR CHECKS ACCEPTED - ONLINE PAYMENTS ONLY). All refunds will be returned within seven (7) to ten (10) business days of the date that the event and/or expo was cancelled by Paired Up.

Privacy Policy
My privacy policy is pretty simple: Jaz of All Trades | Master of Some LLC will never purposely share, sell, and/or give away ANY of your personal information to anyone - EVER! Jaz of All Trades | Master of Some LLC will do everything necessary to keep all files and physical copies of documents safe and guarded.
Childcare Providers: it is YOUR job to show all of the required documents to register for The Nanny & Babysitter Expo to any parents/guardians that you choose to. Remember, Paired Up will never share your personal information.
Parents/Guardians: It is not the responsibility of Paired Up to show you the proof of the required documents for each registered childcare provider. Paired Up does promise that any registered childcare provider has been able to prove (on file and original documentation in person) why they are highly qualified. It is ultimately up to you to ask the childcare providers that you want to hire to see all of their documentation. It is against the Paired Up Privacy Policy to share those personal documents with you.
Childcare Providers: it is YOUR job to show all of the required documents to register for The Nanny & Babysitter Expo to any parents/guardians that you choose to. Remember, Paired Up will never share your personal information.

Media Policy
By registering as a nanny and/or babysitter for The Nanny & Babysitter Expo and/or purchasing ticket(s) to The Nanny & Babysitter Expo by Jaz of All Trades | Master of Some LLC, you agree that all photos, videos, and/or audio that you and/or anyone with you at said events and/or expos may appear in that have been taken during The Nanny & Babysitter Expo and/or The Pre-Expo Workshop are property of Jaz of All Trades | Master of Some LLC, and can be used in any way that Jaz of All Trades | Master of Some LLC sees fit for marketing purposes on (including but not limited to) social media, flyers, emails, future events, website, app, handouts, radio commercials, television commercials, newspapers, etc..
Expectations of all Childcare Providers
(including your "plus one" who may be attending The Nanny & Babysitter Expo with you)
- Arrive at expo no later than 30 minutes to start time! IF YOU ARE A NO-SHOW (with no contact whatsoever with Jaz)- YOU FORFEIT ALL REGISTRATION FEES AND THERE IS NO REFUND OF ANY KIND, AND YOU LOSE THE RIGHT TO REGISTER FOR ANY FUTURE EXPOS OR EVENTS BY PAIRED UP.
- Be professional (smile, make eye contact, firm handshakes).
- Be kind and drama-free (do not talk negatively about any other providers or parents).
- Immediately speak with Jaz if there are any issues with anyone in attendance (past or present).
- Stay the duration of The Nanny & Babysitter Expo (even if the first parent you met said they want to hire you), which is no less than 3-3.5 hours.
- No contracts are to be signed at The Nanny & Babysitter Expo (this is strictly a “meet & greet” – think of it as the first interview).
- Keep your area tidy during The Nanny & Babysitter Expo.
- Clean your area after The Nanny & Babysitter Expo.
- Be respectful of our venue (inside and outside – leaving it better than we found it – smoking in designated areas only – absolutely no alcohol or liquor permitted – no exceptions). Bringing alcohol, liquor, drugs, or any illegal items to an expo will get you kicked out, removed physically by police if necessary, and banned from being able to attend and/or participate in any future expos or events by Paired Up.
- Your "plus one" must be 18+, no children (unless exclusively breastfed) under 18-years-old are permitted at the expo - NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Babysitters (14-17) must have a parent/guardian present and at their table with them the entire time - NO EXCEPTIONS!
- A $50 Security Deposit will be required no later than 3 days prior to expo. After inspection of table, tablecloths, and chairs at the end of the expo, you will be refunded the full amount in the way it was paid (NO CASH OR CHECKS ACCEPTED - ONLINE PAYMENTS ONLY). There will be a complete forfeit of your security deposit if there is anything more than what is considered "normal wear and tear" as determined by Paired Up.
Expectations of all Parents/Guardians
(including anyone who may be attending The Nanny & Babysitter Expo with you)
- Arrive on time for your group (any parent/guardian that shows up late, understands that that time is gone and cannot stay late or into the next group's time to get the full 50 minutes - for example: if you are 10 minutes late, you will only have 40 minutes to walk around The Nanny & Babysitter Expo). IF YOU ARE A NO-SHOW, THEN YOU MAY LOSE THE RIGHT AND CHANCE TO PURCHASE TICKETS FOR ANY OTHER EXPOS OR FUTURE EVENTS BY PAIRED UP- the final decision will be solely at the discretion of PAIRED UP.
- Be respectful of our venue (inside and outside – smoking in designated areas only – absolutely no alcohol or liquor permitted – no exceptions). - The other person from your household must be 18+, no children (unless exclusively breastfed) under 18-years-old are permitted at the expo - NO EXCEPTIONS!
